Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Notice under Agricultural Produce Act.

Mr. Norton asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce whether any notice was served under Section 35 of [529] the Agricultural Produce (Cereals) Act, 1933, requiring the holders of shares in a body corporate to which the section applies to furnish the particulars referred to in that section; and, if so, whether he found it necessary to take any action; and, if so, what action arising out of the serving of such notice.

Mr. Lemass: I have not served notice under Section 35 of the Agricultural Produce (Cereals) Act, 1933, on any licensed flour millers, as I have no information before me which would lead me to believe that this course was necessary.

Mr. Norton: Is the Minister satisfied that the licensed firms complied with the provisions of the legislation in that respect?

Mr. Lemass: Yes.

Mr. Norton: Is that information as a result of an examination or investigation made by the Minister?

Mr. Lemass: As a result of the information supplied.
