Mr. Hogan (Galway) Mr. Hogan (Galway) Mr. Hogan (Galway) asked the Minister for Justice if he has any information to give to the Dáil in respect of the report in the Press regarding an attack on the Gárda Síochána Barracks at Drinagh, Co. Cork. Mr. Geoghegan Mr. Geoghegan Mr. Geoghegan: Early this morning I directed that a statement of the facts should be obtained without avoidable delay. All the relevant facts have not yet been ascertained. The Civic Guard Authorities are, I think, acting with all the expedition one could reasonably expect, but I have not yet had laid before me a full and complete statement of the facts. Mr. Anthony Mr. Anthony Mr. Anthony: Can the Minister state that this attack on the barracks took place as a result of the inflammatory speeches made by the members of his own Party during the General Election? Mr. Wolfe Mr. Wolfe Mr. Wolfe: Is the Minister aware that the attack in question took place as a sequel to the celebrations of victory by the Fianna Fáil Party in the town of Skibbereen? Mr. Geoghegan Mr. Geoghegan Mr. Geoghegan: As I stated in reply to Deputy Hogan, I have not all the facts before me at the present time, but I have enough facts to warrant me in sounding a note of caution.
