Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - The National Monuments Act.

Mr. M. O'Reilly asked the Minister for Finance if he will state when he proposes to put into operation the provisions of the National Monuments Act, 1930.

Parliamentary Secretary to Minister for Finance (Mr. Bourke): The Commissioners of Public Works are in consultation with the Minister for Finance as to the establishment of [2129] the National Monuments Advisory Council in accordance with Section 21 of the Act. The other provisions of the Act came into operation automatically on the passing of the Act.
