Mr. H.A. LAW asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries whether he will state whether any, and, if so, what decisions have been reached regarding State contribution towards harbour improvements at Rathmullin and Buncrana respectively.

Mr. LYNCH: The proposals, engineering and financial, regarding the harbour improvements at Rathmullin are still under consideration, and I am not, therefore, in a position to make any definite statement.

The development of Buncrana Harbour is receiving the careful consideration of the Government. As soon as certain matters of detail, at present under discussion, have been settled, a decision will be taken and communicated immediately to the local authority.
