TOMAS DE NOGLA TOMAS DE NOGLA 1258 [1258] TOMAS DE NOGLA asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will state what was the revenue received by the Unemployment Fund from contributions by employers, employed persons, and the State, respectively, during the twelve months ended December 31st, 1925. Mr. McGILLIGAN Mr. McGILLIGAN Mr. McGILLIGAN: During the twelve months ended 31st December, 1925, the Unemployment Fund received the sum of £619,000 in respect of contributions by employers and employed persons, and the sum of £220,000 as State Grant. Under the present system of accounting it is not possible to give the exact amounts paid by employers and employees respectively. It is estimated, however, that of the sum of £619,000, £328,000 represents contributions paid by employers, and £291,000 contributions paid by employed persons. Dáil Éireann 14 CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS.
