TOMÁS Mac ARTÚIR asked the Minister for Finance if he will state what is the cause of the delay in the payment of pension to Mr. J.T. Healy, ex. R.I.C., of High Street, Ballinamore, whose name appears on the list of awards.

MINISTER for FINANCE (Mr. Blythe): I have had to institute certain [2760] inquiries into this case in order to satisfy myself that Mr. Healy's resignation was really caused by his national sympathies. As soon as my inquiries have been completed Mr. Healy will be notified.
