The PRESIDENT The PRESIDENT 1949 The PRESIDENT: Before the adjournment I would like to move an expression of sympathy with the Government and people of the United States in the great loss they have sustained by the death of their President. The occasion does not call for any words to commend it to the Dáil. The American [1949] nation has sustained a great loss and has our sincere sympathy.
